Welcome
Welcome to the Brewer Farmers' Market!
BUY LOCAL!
Farmers at the Brewer Farmers’ Market offer a wide selection of farm products in season from mid May through the end of October. The peak of harvest in Maine’s short growing season is August-September when variety is greatest. Though open Tuesday through Saturday, you will find most farms at the market on Saturday.
The number of farms present and the variety of products can vary from day to day and as new crops ripen in season. Each farm has something unique to offer. Compare varieties, price, and quality and get the best local produce Maine has to offer.
Buying Locally Grown
Purchasing locally grown food and farm products is a healthy choice because local food is fresh and fresh food is higher in nutrients than food that has been trucked for days from distant places.
Local food is an environmentally sound choice because it reduces energy consumed by shipping food long distances.
Buying local is a good economic choice. The money spent locally goes back into the local economy.

Meet the Farmers – See What’s Available
There is much to be found all season long, from hanging baskets for Mothers’ Day, to jams, jellies, breads, meat, eggs, cheese, plants, cut flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables, through to the last pumpkin at Halloween.
We encourage customers to contact farmers for product information, availability for bulk purchases, items they have available year round or in the off-season, and other requests.
